Your site

Every Vizitka site has an address such as your-name.vizitka.app. You can also connect one domain you own. When the custom domain becomes active, visitors use it as the main address and the Vizitka address redirects there.

What visitors see

Visitors only see published pages. New pages start unpublished, while a change to a live page starts as a draft. The dashboard and your coding agent can open a private preview on the site’s real address. Publishing makes it public.

The Pages screen can publish one page or every pending change together. A full publish includes page drafts, shared page sections, the site’s stylesheet, and shared translations. Discarding a draft restores what visitors already see. Recent versions remain available from the page’s history.

Languages

One page can serve several languages. The default language keeps the ordinary path, such as /services. Every other language uses a prefix, such as /uk/services. The Languages screen appears only when the site has more than one language.

A visitor who opens a language-prefixed address gets that language. An address without a prefix can follow the visitor’s language. Your agent adds or removes languages because it must update the words and links at the same time.

Details shared by every page

The Site screen holds the site’s name, description, sharing picture, author, theme colour, and other details used in browser tabs, search results, and shared links. A page may provide its own details when it needs to differ.

You can also ask search engines not to list the whole site. Use that while a site is not ready to be found, then switch it off when you publish.
