Enquiries
The Enquiries screen appears only when your site has the enquiries form, which every new site starts with. It shows that one form’s messages; any other form you add keeps its messages on its own table under Database.
The screen lists messages newest first, one page at a time, with the count of the whole form above them. Long answers appear beneath the shorter fields so the message stays readable.
What says a message arrived is an email to you and a highlighted row here. The alert sits on the message itself rather than on Notifications, and it stops being unread once you hover over or click that row, which is also what the count beside Enquiries in the sidebar is counting. None of that touches the message: nothing here marks a message read, answered, or dealt with. If somebody else is on the site, their highlight waits until they come and look themselves.
Only someone signed in to your account can read these records. They are not available to public pages or to a connected coding agent. Use the delete control on a message’s row when you no longer need it. Nothing else removes one, unless you give the Enquiries table a number of days to keep its rows for on Database.
If your site has no enquiries form, the entry stays out of the sidebar rather than leading to an empty inbox.
