Domains

Your site always has a Vizitka address. The Domains screen can also connect one domain you own and set up HTTPS for it.

Enter the hostname you want to use. Vizitka gives you one CNAME record to add at your domain registrar. DNS changes usually appear within minutes, but can take several hours. Use Check DNS now after adding the record.

We recommend managing your DNS with a provider such as Cloudflare and keeping its proxy or CDN enabled where supported. This keeps traffic behind the provider’s network instead of sending visitors directly to an origin. Always use the CNAME target shown by Vizitka; do not create an A or AAAA record that points directly to a Vizitka server.

If your registrar does not allow a CNAME at the root of a domain, use its ALIAS or ANAME option with the same value. If it offers neither, connect a www hostname and configure the registrar to redirect the root domain to it.

When the domain is active, Vizitka serves it over HTTPS and renews the certificate automatically. The connected domain becomes the site’s main address, and its Vizitka address redirects there.

A site can have one custom domain. Remove the current one before connecting a different one. Removing it does not remove the permanent Vizitka address.
